Reporting overview
When you click the Reporting icon, the Reporting page is displayed. Click on the image below to view an example.
All types of report that are available to you are listed under one of 5 broad categories. You can download and view a sample of each report type (see Note below).
However, the types of report that you can create are dependent on the data vintage you have selected and your subscription. A padlock icon is used to identify any report type which you cannot create because it is not included your subscription.
Note: All sample reports are in PDF format including dashboards, with the exception of those in the Analyse Multiple Areas report category which are in Excel format.
To create a report, first click on the required category icon to display the report types available in that category. Click the nn more reports button to display any report types not currently visible in the category. Click on the required report type from the list to display a wizard which you then use to select the required geographies and data on which to base your report.
Note: If you create a dashboard report using a catchment, then the opacity of the catchment is set so that you can see the map details through the catchment layer on the map presented by the dashboard. The centre or starting point (e.g. postcode or latitude/longitude) that you used to create the catchment is displayed on the map as a red star.
Report categories, types and formats
The 5 report categories are displayed in the table below, showing their associated icon; a summary of how reports in each category may be used; a list of the available report types and their associated report format for the UK23 data vintage. Depending on the report type, reports are available as a PDF, Excel, CSV or as Dashboard format.
Note: The report types for other countries such as Australia and New Zealand are not the same as those listed below for the UK. Some report categories such as Evaluate Local Competitors may not have any report types listed. Dashboards are not currently available for any other country except the UK.
